The Armor of God
During Conference the kids colored pictures of CTR shields. They proceeded to make swords and everything else. I thought it would be a perfect oportunity to discuss putting the whole armor of God. We went all out for family home evening. Who knows if they got the concept, what matters is they had a whole bunch of fun!
Preschool Graduate!
Look who graduated from preschool. Connor is on his way to Kindergarten. He went to miss Tammy's for two years. I can't say he is excited for kindergarten, nor am I. He looks so cute in his favorite color ORANGE! He loved preschool, his best friends were Brooklynn, Avery, and Gunnar. We will miss you Miss Tammy, till next year when Ethan comes.

Pine Wood Derby
The pinewood derby is an exciting event in our house, Daddy loves anything to do with racing. Daddy is so busy though, so he is always putting things till the last minute. Justin and daddy worked on Saturday Night till 1:00 a.m., yikes! Then on Monday they were up till 11:00 p.m., on a school night. But it was all worth it, Justin took first place at the race. Way to go Justin.

Mildred Elizabeth Warren Taylor passed away on May 10, 2011. Grandma Milly was 99 years old. This picture was taken in November, she looks good for 99. My Grandma was such a compassionate person. She adopted five children. My grandmas stories about each child who was adopted fascinated me. My grandpa and grandma were foster parents she took care of so many and is such an inspirational person in my life. Grandma was in good health till pretty much the end. They told us on May 9, she would be going soon. My grandma told me she loved me this day. Robert gave her a beautiful blessing that night. She passed away peacefully the next day. It was a beautiful funeral. It was fun seeing my cousins I haven't seen in years. We love you Grandma Milly, and miss you so much.

This picture was taken in September. We have been talking about doing it for ten years. We got lost on the way to the pictures, and the sun was going down. We almost didn't get the picture, and I am sure it would have taken us another ten years to put it together. So thank goodness we found Aunt Marie.
